Your financial support directly helps children
Heart For Kids is helping bring change for orphans and kids in need, but we can’t do it alone. The situations faced as we serve in China, India and Indonesia are very fluid. Apart from child sponsors financial support for our various projects such as rural education, foster homes and orphanage training of children, we have needs which sometimes occur very quickly. Then sometimes the needs are met very quickly too. This can be a wonderful process. But we often find ourselves wondering how we are going to continue something without an injection of financial support.
What will happen next when faced by a particular need. We know that Heart For Kids are doing what we’re called to, and over the years we have been blessed to receive much needed financial support to continue this service. We value every supporter, no matter the size of their gift.

China - Doves Wings and program administration
Milk powder and child food for Doves Wings babies
Milk powder is usually a big need however at the moment because of COVID19 we don’t have babies in Doves Wings, they have grown up during the last two years.
Food is a big expense of course so any gifts directly supporting this area are always appreciated.
Program office equipment
Our office really does run very leanly compared to offices in most countries. But from time to time new equipment is needed like computers, printers and other general equipment.
Vitamins and medicines
Vitamins, skin creams and basic children’s medicines are really helpful. Volunteers coming to China used to often bring these however travel is of course not happening. SO if you would like to donate for medicines it would be helpful.
Beds in Doves Wings
Currently all the children in Doves Wings need new beds, that’s seven in total. That’snearly $1,000 Australian we need to allocate.
Office space
Each year we have to pay 12-months rent in advance in one payment for our apartments. These are used for Doves Wings and our administration office and storage. Yearly rent is around $12,500 per apartment
Indonesia
Kids Club spaces
Kids clubs are run in urban slum areas and provide the children with added education in English and other activities. The children love them and often we must run two classes because we run out of space.
Each space can cost around $100 Australian per month
House of Hope maintanence
The house provides safe housing to children and young adults but must be maintained to be kept in this safe condition. The residents are also engaged in operating various programs like the Kids Clubs.
India
Child Development Centres
These centres provide critical services including education for children living in extreme poverty. Children can be sponsored but the number of children in need is always greater than sponsors. So gifts for this vital area are always needed.
Gifts help us pay teachers, rent space, give the children school equipment
Women’ tailoring school
We operate two schools per year which each empower twenty women to support their children. Often these women’s husbands are living with addictions and therefore do not support their family. Each school is an investment of about $7000 Australian but the long-term impact of this is. incredible
