Cash, how much do I need, what do I pay for?

Every team can be different but in most cases your team contributions will cover all living expenses once you are met in-country.

Through the team we’ll be paying for most things; hotel, food, travel etc. once we meet you at the airport. What’s left? Souvenirs, extra snacks or comfort food, an occasional taxi. On some teams breakfast is not included or there can be 1 or 2 occasions where it’s easier to let you purchase a snack type lunch at a roadside store.

How much to bring is a tough question because different people spend different amounts. The money you bring is for personal spending. We don’t know what souvenirs you may like to buy however we do encourage people not to consider their short term team as a shopping excursion.
