What sort of luggage should I use?

People either use suitcases or backpacks usually. Size is important, a medium size suitcase is OK but large ones can be difficult. Pack light. It’s OK to bring your suitcase and a carry-on bag or backpack.

We may be traveling by mini bus and space is limited. If you have been asked to bring special supplies for our in country team (medicines etc) we should be able to take these from you before we travel to the orphanages.

You wont normally need to drag your bag along dirt paths and roads. But bags always get treated a bit rough so if your bag is looking dodgy it might be time to invest in a new one rather than risk it breaking on team.
